About this Project

For my final-year project, I trained a virtual car (the agent) to self-park and the aim was to achieve a 85-95% success rate. Development started in early February 2022 and came to an end in late May 2022. 

Specifications

There are four testing environments that can be selected, and within each environment are six different scenarios to test the agent in. 

  • Scenario #1
    • 90% of spaces occupied by a car. 
  • Scenario #2
    • 75% of spaces occupied by a car.
  • Scenario #3
    • 50% of spaces occupied by a car.
  • Scenario #4
    • 25% of spaces occupied by a car.
  • Scenario #5
    • 10% of spaces occupied by a car.
  • Scenario #6
    • 0% of spaces occupied by a car.
